At Nishanti, we uphold strict standards of cleanliness and safety to ensure every batch is pure and safe to consume.
1. Hand Sorting Protocols
Before entering our dehydrators, every harvest is laid out on stainless steel inspection tables. Our staff manually inspects the blossoms, separating foreign leaves, small stems, or imperfect petals.
2. Hygienic Packaging Environments
Our blending and packaging areas are kept sterile and dust-free. Packaging staff wear hairnets, gloves, and protective suits. All equipment is regularly sanitized to comply with food-grade sanitation guidelines.
3. Microbiological and Heavy Metal Testing
We periodically send batch samples to independent, NABL-accredited laboratory test facilities in India to verify that our teas are free from:
- Microbiological contaminants (E. coli, Salmonella, Yeast & Mould).
- Heavy metal residues (Lead, Cadmium, Arsenic, Mercury).
- Pesticide residues.
4. Full Traceability Mapping
Every retail pouch is stamped with a unique Batch Number. This number matches our crop log, telling us which field section the blossoms were harvested from, the harvest date, and who inspected the batch.
