We believe that a brand that celebrates nature must protect it. At Nishanti, our footprint is designed to preserve.
1. Regenerative Soil Management
We practice crop rotation and companion planting. By growing butterfly pea flowers alongside native food crops, we create natural barriers against pests and enrich the soil without relying on synthetic chemicals.
2. Solar-Assisted Dryers
We are gradually transitioning our drying facility to solar energy. Our dehydration process uses heat exchangers to optimize energy efficiency, reducing our carbon emissions per batch by over 40% compared to traditional fossil-fuel dryers.
3. Plastic-Free Retail Packaging
Our retail tea pouches are made using unbleached kraft paper on the exterior and a compostable lining inside. We encourage our customers to compost or reuse these pouches once empty.
4. Hemp and Biodegradable Shipping Crate Fillers
For transit logistics, we have eliminated plastic bubble wrap. We pack our orders using natural hemp fibers, unbleached cardboard boxes, and biodegradable paper tape, ensuring that the packaging can return to the earth without creating plastic waste.
